Daily Thoughts - Into the deep
"Then King Nebuchadnezzar was startled and rose in haste, asking his counselors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the fire?" "Certainly, O king," they answered. "But," he replied, "I see four men unbound and unhurt, walking in the fire, and the fourth looks like a son of God." Nebuchadnezzar exclaimed, "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who sent his angel to deliver the servants that trusted in him; they disobeyed the royal command and yielded their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God." Daniel 3:91-92, 95
Walk of faith. I had the pleasure of meeting a servant of Christ this week, got to see him in action as he did what he does. The man is full of joy, loves life and loves God, he is living in the resurrection of Christ.
I listened to the sufferings of Christ through him, I heard the pain and anguish he has lived through out his life. The loss of two children early in his marriage, the loss of his wife within the past year and the pain of being alone. Yet within the suffering there is an abundance of joy, for his hope is God.
Jesus knew the story of His life, He wrote it, He knew the pain and suffering that was to be experienced but He knew who stood by His side within the fire of life. The ending has already been written, the closer we get to the Sun, the hotter it becomes but within the fire there is an immense joy when you know who's you belong too.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Be blessed today and always give thanks knowing what the story produces.
Dear Father God, what a blessed morning to walk with You through the life of Your son. He radiates a strength that only life can produce that has been tried by fire. Prayers for a friend experiencing the pain of loss, may they experience the joy of Christ knowing the ending brings about resurrection. Thank You Father for the understanding to see beyond the lines and experience Christ in the flesh. To God be the glory, Amen.
